I am using DNN 3.2.2
I have installed this module and put it on a page.
In the main page I see :
**********
Install Helper (HOST)
HACK: Unknown
SCHEDULE: Not installed
**********
How do I install the hack ?

I see :
Status of the hack in this DNN instance

This module must run when every request is made, so this section helps you to configure this module to do this
Error: Not possible to determine status (DNN: 3.2.2)

How do I install it by hand into web.config ?

When trying to install
SCHEDULE I get a timeout.

Another question - I have around 1000 subportals on BuildPortal.com.
If I add to all of them the admin menu of localization will it work ? Will this make problems with future upgrades of DNN

Regards

Lior

That error is shown when the first line from your default.aspx is not as it comes inside the original package. Have you modified it? or maybe you are using another module that modifies it.

This module is designed to work inside the original DNN code. If you are using it on a custom version, then I don't know how could be the results.

DSLocalizator has been working on every module since early 3.x. I always make upgrades to my own sites. I will try to keep it working until the real localization comes. As you may understand, DSLocalizator is a hack to a DNN feature, and depending of the new changes inside the DNN core it could be more difficult to implement or maybe more easy, but the main idea is that I need this and I will continue to enhance it.

I always suggest to test the module on similar installations on a test environment first. If you want to do it on your production site, a backup can be always
