dnn 337 and SSL (France)

Hello,

I will have a verysign certifiacte that I want to use on my dnn 337. I saw that dslocalizator allows me to define a page to use SSL. Is there another param to define and another configuration to do(the certificate will be installed on my IIS)?

DSLocalizator works fine if the domain stays the same

http://www.yoursite.com

https://www.yoursite.com

You can set DSLocalizator to exchange a page to SSL or to not SSL at a page level. So you can have one page with SSL and not SSL in another page.

It is suggested that you use SSL only in the pages that really need them as it needs more bandwidth to work.

Hello,

thanks for your answer it is exactly what I needed. I was in hollidays last week so I didn't see your message. I will test it as soon the certificate will be installed on my website.

Hello,

I come back to you.
The SSL certificate is installed on the portal and if I try to go to https://www.mysite.com/default.asp?tabid=xxx it works.
If I use tablocalization and select UseSSL in dslocalizator it seems to switch to the page in https mode but after 2min the page is not done yet so I have a timeout of my brother.
Is there any params to avoid this problem?

You link does not seem to be a DNN link... are you using asp instead of aspx and it was just a mistake?

Also.... are you using friendly URLs?

Please try the following. go to a page from your site other than homepage (Just to test)

Modify the URL from your browser address field and change http:// to https:// manually

Press enter

Is your page loaded?

Note: It must work for friendly or non friendly URLs.
