Hi,

my site has several languages. But beacuse not all the module all multi-language, I want to go to a different page depending of which language I choose.

Let say , I choose English. Then when I choose the menuitem X, I want to go to page1.

If the language is Dutch, I want to go to page2.

Is this possible?

TIA

Yes, DSlocalizator supports that.

You need to configure it on the page localization section

For example, if you have

Page A = English

Page B = Spanish

The select page A in the page localization section and select Spanish as the language in the dropdown. Then you can select the redirect option and select the page B as the destination

Then select page B and English and in the redirection option select page A

That is all

Re: Page depenting of language  (United States)

Locopon,

I just tried this on a site that I localized and I can't get the page to switch when you change the language on the page.

My site has different product listings displayed depending on country.  We've used a static menu in the page template to direct the users to the correct listing based on the template language. It would be nice to redirect to the proper page when the user changes languages.

For now, I'm going to take the dropdown out of the catalog template and force the users to move to another page on the site before they change language.

I'm using DSTabLocalizer v01.00.23 on DNN 3.3.7

You can see the controls in action at :

http://www.odva.org/default.aspx?tabid=84

When you select Japanese, the page should redirect to :

http://www.odva.org/default.aspx?tabid=331

Thanks for the great modules, this is such a little problem compared to the awesomeness of what you've done, I feel bad even complaining a little.

Sorry bu I can find the "japanese" link.

To enable redirection you can:

1) Got to DSLocalizator, tabLocalization

2) Select tab 84

3) Select japanese as the language (in the tab localization module)

4) Set the redirection at the bottom of the module to page 331

5) Press apply

6) Select tab 331

7) Select the other laguage

8) set the redirection to tab 84 at the bottom

9) Apply
