Can you please explain me how to use the following:

Replace URLs: Replace all URLs automatically by including the querystring parameter Replace Solpart Links automatically by including the URL param (querystring parameter must be enabled)
Replace Solpart Links:

I am not sure that I have understood the goal.

Can you explain me why I do not have it ticked currently, and it is working anyway ???

It could be that you left a similar checkbox active in the HOST - Language or in the ADMIN - Languages

As I told you before, you need to disable those option from the core because they work somehow different rom DSLocalizator and then use the setting inside the DSLocalizator
